Chocolate Brownies
These brownies are delicious – cold or hot served with ice cream
- Pre heat fan oven to 170c
- Mix chocolate with butter in a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water – make sure the water line is just below the bottom of the glass bowl. When melted combine and set to one side to cool.
- Line a 25cm square ovenproof tin with parchment paper
- Mix flour, cocoa, sugar and baking powder – add a handful of walnuts, small cream eggs or marshmallows if preferred
- Gently combine the beaten eggs and the melted chocolate mixture until silky smooth
- Pour into the prepared tin and cook for 25 minutes
