With a background founded in hospitality and formal Industry related qualifications, Mark commenced his training with the Cavendish Trust working within Royal circles. He has been involved with Nationwide luxury private and commercial corporate hotels and hospitality businesses including Crestacare PLC.
Mark established the highly successful Goldcare Facilities Management Ltd, an operational management company within the private healthcare sector and went on to own awarding winning hotels and restaurants and also a highly regarded learning disability home.Goldcare has evolved into Onecall Hospitality Ltd, a bespoke operational and business recovery Company. Mark has helped many clients with operational and financial problems to affect business turnaround and also assisted with successful business start ups.

Kathryn studied at Huddersfield University and has a background founded in Hospitality with formal Management and teaching qualifications and has been a member of the Institute of Hospitality for over 20 years.
Kathryn has International and National hotel and catering management experience and has been associated with luxury hotels, Bruche Police training academy and Government and Contract Caterers. She has also held many lecturing positions and worked with the RIPHH, HM Prisons and various colleges. Kathryn, together with Mark has owned highly successful award winning hotels and restaurants increasing revenue by 70% year on year.
She established Onecall Hospitality with Mark in 2007 offering bespoke business recovery and operational management solutions.
Name: Paul Hawkins

Paul studied at Sheffield University and worked for many years within the telecommunications Industry and established Northfield Caterers in 1991 with Sheffield United Football Club being a principle hospitality contract. The Company diversified acquiring hotels and restaurants in South Yorkshire and the Peak District and successfully sold in 2008. Paul retained one of his restaurants in Sheffield which continues to feature within the top 10 dining venues in South Yorkshire.
Paul joined Onecall Hospitality in 2008 and his friendly, personable and positive results oriented style of involvement, has contributed to the successful turnaround of many client’s businesses.
Pauls’ particular strength is to apply ‘best practice’ financial principles to businesses to ensure optimum profit return. The strategy also seeks to improve business viability and return on capital in an effective and affordable way. Pauls ‘best practice’ development and training programme has gained recognition from ‘Business Link’ and Onecall are now accredited service providers to this government lead initiative.

Prior to joining Onecall Hospitality, Jessey was managing director of a hotel group responsible for the strategic management, implementation and execution of the group’s business plan and strategy. His active role in business development contributed to the Company’s asset growth of over £6 million.
Jessey has developed a range of skills which makes him a highly effective management consultant and he is able to relate to the issues that today’s owners and managers face.
Through his appointment to the board of Choice International Sales & Marketing Council, Hotel Foremost group (purchasing consortium) and his association with regional business associations, Jessey has acquired a depth and breadth of experience in managing businesses. He has gained regional business awards at an early stage in his career including ‘Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2009’. Jessey also provides key speeches at seminars and business conferences.

Name: Darryl Shaw

Darryl began his career in operational management and marketing within transport and distribution joining the British Railways Board Graduate Management training programme (TA) associated to the Boards subsidiary company, Freightliners Limited. Darryl undertook a number of operational and marketing positions within the business. On exit, as the Company’s National Account Manager, Darryl acquired a Country House Hotel which he successfully developed into an award winning venue.
His extensive knowledge and experience of both developing and operating hotels together with his knowledge of the industry is somewhat unique.
As an active member of a number of industry bodies, Darryl is the immediate past Chairman of the BHA Wales Committee and a member of their National Executive. He is also a Board Member (Vice Chair) of Tourism Partnership North Wales, a body formed by Visit Wales to develop and deliver a tourism strategy for North Wales.
